remarks that I sort of expect that Berkshire Hathaway is going to have some kind of insurance operation in Singapore after I see it opening commerical insurance division with many ex-AIG employees. Now it has the permit to sell non-life insurance in Singapore. If a company want an insurer with excellent cash reserve that is more than enough to service the required claims, you can look no further other than Berkshire Hathaway. Not even AIA, AIG, Prudential, and etc. can match BH. Disclaimer: I am Berkshire Hathaway shareholder.
