repatriated stolen Byzantine manuscript of the Holy Mount Athos Monastery of Dionysiou A Byzantine manuscript of the 12th century (also known as Dionysius 8 and MS. LUDWIG II 4) repatriated on 11/09/2014 in Greece from America and exhibited from 15 September to 30 October at the Byzantine and Christian Museum . The manuscript from the Monastery of Dionysiou on Mount Athos was stolen in 1960, and then acquired in 1983 by the American JP Getty Museum in California. This parchment Code (Tetraefangelo), 12th century. (1133), a laboratory of Istanbul, which was originally published in 1895 by Spyridon Lambros in Gatalogue of the Greek Manuscripts on Mount Athos describes in a statement the Ministry of Culture, adding that the name of the scribe is Theoktistos and contains brilliant illustrations with examples of correlation rules gospels, ornate epititla the thumbnail and the four evangelists on faceplates of the Gospels.
