scholars are salts When they know their onions And protect their honour! They remain relevant When they are focused themselve They rule us And remain our rulers When they allow the rule to rule them! Scholars are water And they are not like water! They quench our thirst Both moral and spiritual thirst In the summer and winter Scholars are what they are! All are good But until they derail If scholars are the afore-mentioned; water,salt and all that are good They must justify it Live and work it For our moral guide must not be a morass Our consciousness must be upright! It is onto water that they go When morsel clogs the wheel of th throat Onto whom they will go When water itself acts as a clog in the wheel of the morsel? Onto salt they run When meat is to be preserved! Onto whom they will run When salt acts the destroyer on the meat? Our scholars must all be upright
