The news reports are full of delusional, laughably hyped up stuff and plain falsehood – “rising India”, “shining India”, “great destination for investment”, “superpower India”, blah blah blah… while real news about the extreme levels of backwardness, poverty and desperation get only a passing mention or negligible coverage.
