(sigh).. What a day.. Got up and worked at Odark thirty this A.M. .. then went to take care of MORE errands for mom.. Wil joined me at her house to rearrange stuff again so she can walk with no obstructions (again).. Driving home in sunset, when a guy MOWING the lawn by the road appeared out of the shadows, veering into road .. and ME.. almost took the poor soul out.. He yelled and screamed.. I turned truck around, pulled in drive, immediately asked if he was okay.. and that I did not see him at all.. but was so sorry.. again.. YOU OKAY?.. This guy called me names I do not even know.. I was impressed with the cursing vocabulary, until he said he WOULD NOT take my apology, and told me what I could do with it and my fancy sun blockers.. ( I wear mirrored aviators.. cheap ones too) I smiled and nodded slowly and told him.. thats cool, I understand.. He yelled to his friend watching this (who also started walking away from it) About what a blip blip pile of bleep nerve I had to say I understand.. and it continued.. (sigh) I then said if you are okay, Im leaving now.. be safe I guess I sounded like a smartass, cause he turned around and looked like a raging bull.. I think he was even spitting as he cursed.. I closed the truck door and quietly backed out of drive, and headed back towards the sunset... When I glanced back in the mirror, the old boy was still flappin his arms and pacing like a beheaded turkey.. I smiled.. I guess all the Black Friday madness can happen anywhere.. Yall drive safe now,.. ya heeyah?! (smirks)
