sitting out on the porch having coffee with my hubby and listening to the nice, steady rain as we count our blessings and precious friends. A surprise visit (skillfully planned by Craig & them) from our dear Ohio friends, Rick & Sherri, has made it a weekend full of gratitude already. Nearly 25 years of friendship and stories that could go on for hours reminds us how very lucky we are to be so incredibly close and connected despite being separated by 365+ miles for the past 16 years. They loved our Zac-y like their own and have grieved so much with us weve felt it. Salt of the earth...truly! A soul sister who knows me so well. Dear and precious friends...memories and great times even on surprise visit days when Im unshowered and working on a fire pit in the back yard! :) Blessed...truly and incredibly blessed! God knew what He was doing when we chose them to stand up with us at our wedding nearly 20 years ago and we praise Him for that! We love you guys. Be safe driving home this morning!
