..so I thought I would post something a bit different.. not the usual wedding / children photography. You need to tell me if you like these kind of posts. If you do, click Like or write a comment so I will post more in a future and not stick on portrait photography. If you dont... well if you dont, just ignore this post and I will go back to my usual photography :) so..this is kind of personal but..here I go.. These pictures were taken in Cinque Terre last year. As most of you know I am Italian (well now I am 50% Italian 50% Australian :) ) and last year I went back to Italy for 8 months. The main reason I went there was family. After having Thomas in 2013, I really felt the need to be close to my family and share that amazing journey that is motherhood with my own mum, who unfortunately cant fly as she is affected by MS. Luckily my husband is a web designer and I am photographer so we can take our job anywhere we want to. Anyway, Italy was truly amazing. Being able to spend a normal family life close to my family was truly priceless. In between this normal life I had to feed my hunger of photography doing little trips here and there. Luckily Italy is not like Australia where you need to travel for hours and hours and hours...I mean, in 8 hours you get to the other side of Europe!! So here is my trip to Cinque Terre (aka The Five Lands). We rented a small villa on top of a hill with a breathtaking view over the Mediterranean. We would go for walks during the day and at night we would stay in our beautiful terrace, overlooking the bay and drink wine and indulge in good food while Thomas was asleep inside..all this with my family PRICELESS
