so...after a whole lot of back and forth about the beetle, I think I am ready to part with it. Good patinad Capri Blue 59 with the engine and interior already pulled (I have cleaned the seats and door panels already and drained the engine oil-engine turns freely) you will also get an extra 36 hp engine for parts. the original engine only has 63,000+ original miles on it. pans are solid. just surface rust that i took a wire brush to and rust coated the internal pans. Fenders have bondo and dents. Wont take much to get her on the road. Title in hand. $1500. going to offer it up here first then hit the interweb with it this weekend.
