so,,,i need some advice...interesting story, as many of you know my truck recently lost its transmission, and i thank everyone for helping me get it back on the road. now, before i got it back i did see it driving around the neighborhood, which is normal, they need to take it for a test drive. well. I just received a Toll Ticket in the mail for $3.56 cents. no biggie, i get those all the time while im in texas, they take a photo of your vehicle, and mail you the ticket. ok so the dates were a little strange to me. i had to back track. and of course the dates my truck was on a toll road, was the 22nd of july. my truck broke down on the 17th. and i was able to get it back on the 26th... again, back to test drives to make sure things work... i understand that is normal.. but at 10:29 pm ? .....ok now before i jump to conclusions. i do know that they did send the truck to another shop to have someone else do the rebuild of the transmission...ok also not uncommon. Monday i need to find out where this other shop is.. but here is the weird part....on July 22nd, a drunk driver had hit a bus and tried to make a run for it. and crashed into the lot of the place that was fixing my truck. and smashed into another car. totaling it, the drunk driver tried to get out of the lot and rammed the gate, and destoryed the rest of his truck by getting it lodged on the gate. imobilizing him, and leaking all his oil. im not sure the specifics as to what time this happened. but steve and i walked out to get smokes across the street and saw the damage and the truck still sitting there at 2 am, i even took video. the following day, i stopped in just to ask what happened? they told about the drunk driver. and he said thank god my park was parked where it was otherwise it would have also gotten smashed. ..... so between the time of this drunk driving indecent. and 2 am. someone was out joyriding in my truck. .... also keep in mind, i am not very close to any of the toll roads round here.
