so im gonna shake this off... just running errands in the Castro and standing at the crossroads of the gay world (18th & Castro) when i notice a guy eying me as the homeless older lady by Walgreens does Her usual plea (recently Shes a constant there--which i am not bemoaning in any way). the light is about to change when He walks up and says i swear i know You, have We met before i have a fairly good memory for faces and this one did not register. so i said not sure, but its nice to meet You if not He shook His head and said no, i know i know You then my mind wanders through the catalog a little deeper with no record anywhere... i say my name is Troy, nice to meet You--or re-meet You then He said wow, rude hmmmmm, im thinking wow, no thats rude, and say im sorry, what is Your name? and He says nevermind and my minds twists 180 degrees as i realize Hes a nut... and i hustle across a red walk light... so why do people go there? why are some people so hell bent on seeing anything but what is positive in this world? compassion, integrity, honour, kindness... there is never any excuse for anything else, not once, not ever, just never... so as i walked away my new favourite song starts playing--perfect coincidence. i dont know any other Taylor Swift song--not a single one... but baby, this one i love. She finally has a verifiable hit... and a #1 song on the Billboard Hot 100 btw ;-) so if someone is kind to You, realizes they may be in error, and tries to make You feel comfortable in the haze of the day, just Smile and say my name is, its nice to meet You... and definitely SHAKE IT OFF! cause the players gonna play, play, play, play, play and the haters gonna hate, hate, hate, hate, hate baby im just gonna shake, shake, shake, shake, shake shake it off, shake it off heart-breakers gonna break, break, break, break, break and the fakers gonna fake, fake, fake, fake, fake baby im just gonna shake, shake, shake, shake, shake shake it off, shake it off youtube/watch?v=nfWlot6h_JM
