so im watching no country for old men for the maybe 6th or 7th time, the first time i saw it was on vhs tape that i rented from blockbusters (remember those things?) but tonite its on i.f.c. the interesting thing that i noticed, and maybe some of you have seen it before, but the mexican gun battle, when tommy lee was approaching to hotel where llewelyn was staying, every other time i saw this movie, after the gunfire, as tommy lee jones approached in his patrol car, there was a body floating in the pool, even in the movie that i rented from blockbusters, even on every showing that ive seen on cable, there was a body floating in the pool. i always assumed that this was llewelyn. the movie was always ambiguously vague in this way. well, tonight, for the first time ever (for me, anyway), llewelyns body was prominently displayed deceased in the doorway of his hotel room. i swear to god i have never seen this movie edited this way. have you??
