so my day has been pretty great until this lady comes in to buy 2 spring rolls, starts talking to me about my school I explain I do my schooling online that my boyfriend lives in California I plan to move there in the summer THEN she decides to tell me how stupid I am that my first boyfriend should be my education how California is nothing but girls partying on the beach how when my boyfriend decides to look other ways I wont be able to spread my wings and fly. How online school is not good for me, so then I decide to explain yeah well I pay for my school and online is easier so I can work THEN she decides to tell me to get financial aide I then tell her I dont get that because my parents make too much, she THEN decides to talk poorly about my parents this whole time I stand there with a smile. Then she keeps going so I cut her off and explain to her that I cant do school at a campus I am better off teaching myself and she should keep her opinions in her own head and that Im pretty sure after 6 months apart my boyfriend would have already looked other ways if he wanted to and that weve already been together for over a year and that I understand the importance of education. I must say I hate ignorant people especially at my job where I really cant tell them how I feel.
