so my trip to town was interesting! Heavy rain (it was light rain when I left) Came out and had to roll my pants to my knees and wrestle groceries to the truck. Was gonna wait it out but the parking lot drain was all clogged and when it got to 2/3s of the way up my tires, I decided to go for it...the water was up to right below my knees...then on the way up Bob sikes there in the road was the front end of a freaking car! like it fell off and they just left it? Reported that to WCSO..the rest of the car was mmmm who knows? Drove to the arena..already drowned..so what the heck, to make sure Rex had turned the horses out (he had) and at the bottom of the hill where our creek is, was the little doe that lives here..literally up to her neck in the creek struggling..hind legs stuck in the mud..so I had to get out and scream and rant and rave at her to frighten her enough to struggle a little harder to get away and suddenly out of the mud she came...running straight for the little goat house. She probably thought I was nuts waving my arms and screaming as I usually talk to her quietly every evening.
