so, this is still subject to change, but here is the latest version of the field map for The Battle of Powderhorn! The area is apx. 33 acres, with a gradual downhill slope to the north. The vegetation on the west side of the field is mostly thick scrub oak and dense aspen with lots of trails and small clearings, the east side of the field is mostly medium density aspen, with a good bit of older growth oak to the northeast. The ruins of old Powderhorn is a large level dirt area, which will eventually become another paved parking lot, and is strewn with several large piles of boulders. We will be building a lot of bunkers and structures in this area, and I believe Powderhorn will be bringing the terrain park features down from the slopes for us to use as well. The tanks will be free roaming in this area only. The lowest paved parking lot looks down on the ruins from on top of a 20/30 ft fairly steep bluff. This lowest paved lot will serve as our vendor/spectator and camping area. I will make every effort to make sure the field is as even and fair as possible as we work in the coming weeks. I am also seeking volunteers for help with the field build, if anyone is interested, We will make it worth your while! Also: Powderhorn Mountain Resort has taken the reins from me on the automated sales website, but they assure me it should be up and running through Powderhorns webstore by Tuesday!
