so today I left super early to get to a pre-paid haircut, Google lied about where it was, so I rushed in with a couple of minutes to spare, got everything done (I had a - non-refundable - voucher so it included all the little extra bits and bobs), then realised as I went to pay that I had actually gone into the wrong shop. If you want to find crazy ways to demonstrate absolute stupidity and waste a lot of money, just ask me... [In my defence the branding literally is almost identical and it was one road away from the right place.. and I will be complaining to the place I went to for 1. Telling me yes, I did have a pre-booked appointment at their shop, 2. following the terms of my voucher only to tell me upon paying that its not the correct voucher at all. I know it was my mistake but perhaps if theyd highlighted the fact I had no appointment despite saying I did, and had asked me to produce the voucher upon arrival like most shops would expect, then Id have noticed my mistake before it was too late. Also, I am not sure if I found it completely devastating or a little bit hilarious. Oh dear.]
