so when i turned on the cincy-indy playoff game it was already late in the 1st quarter,,,no biggie,,,then i think it was right after half time when they came back from a commercial break, that they returned with a pic of Stuart Scott with the numbers 1965-2015 underneath it,,,my first thought? WTF is that,,,no way,,,and as Jim Nantz started to explain that he had passes i was already on my phone going to espn,,,how could this man, whom everyone loved, be gone?? tears flowing,,,hoping it wasnt true,,,then there it was,,,he had lost his 7 year battle with cancer that he had beaten twice,,everyone who knows me knows i am an emotional person,,,this is the first time i have shed tears for someone i have never met nor know,,,why? you can tell by the way he was on tv that he was true,,,he didnt sugar coat it,,,he was a REAL HUMAN, not some bullshit piece of crap actor or musician ,,,how many broadcasters,,or actors,,or any public figure EVER get a moment of silence before 2 NFL playoff games,,,all 6 NBA games,,,and the President of the United States ...the one and only Stuart Scott,,,,listen to his speech here,,,will bring tears to you eyes unless you have no heartbeat,,,,a very class act,,,i wish I could call you a friend,,,but ive never met you,,but maybe someday at sportscenter up the sky I will,,,,you are truly an inspiration to every sportsfan on the planet!!!!!!!!!!!!!
