so, you think those cute little individual sized cake eggs you found in your Easter basket as a kid are too hard to find? -worse, you find them at some fancy-pants bakery and the price is through the roof and you have to order them months in advance? just bake a simple pound cake, cut it into thirds and then use a serrated knife to carve the egg shape out of the cake..then use a basic white icing and coloring to make pastel colored icing and a fine tip decorating attachment in a bag to pipe the names on all pretty like. pictures to come soon! happy Easter.
