some of the biggest challenges we face as business owners is dealing with government rules and costs i had been running my LLC for several years when I suddenly received quite a large bill from the franchise tax board which levies a charge every year for LLCs my CPA had missed this requirement for years, so when i got the bill it was not only large but was even bigger than normal because of interest in a way, as the owners, we are responsible for every job ourselves....because we are where the buck stops, and if an employee makes a colossal mistake that costs the business money, it is on us as the financial overseer be wary.....double check....triple check....because a big enough bill can bury you.....or at the least create setbacks
