some publicity for fuel cells and how it may finally be receiving some main stream press about being the next step after plug-in electric cars. many brands working on fuel cell cars are mentioned in this video by the writer, except Mercedes Benz, who despite having over 50 fuel cell cars in the hands of paying customers in California and being one of the leaders in fuel cell technology, has done an unfortunately poor job of promoting their own innovations in the United States. MBUSA continues to promote nothing but high profit AMG cars and C-Class subsidized leases, while BMW has been able to build interest and anticipation for its i-series of alternative energy cars right alongside their M series performance vehicles. In unrelated news, i drove past a fancy showroom for the Mercedes-Benz Driving Academy near the Beverly Center last week. I can only imagine what retail rent must be per month for that facility....
