something I just feel the need to share with the world.... our 7th graders just completed their thinklink testing this week for science. Out of all of them, 90% scored proficient/ distinguished on the life science portion of the test which is a big chunk of what Kristin Gott Nolte Nolte, Mike Rambo, and I taught last year. I almost shed some tears of joy when Cindy Nahlik and Chuck Standiford shared the news with me. Last year was my first year having my own classroom, and I really feel that I did a decent job. I get asked the question all the time, why dont you try to come to Trigg County? Well, I did try, before I got hired at Christian. I had subbed there for over two years, knew many people that worked their, but supposedly they werent wanting to hire a new year teacher. God had a different plan for me. I was frustrated at first, but I am so glad that things worked out the way they did. I love my school, my co-workers, and never imagined how much I would love those kiddos. We are working so hard to show the public that our school is much better than what everyone has heard. I am proud to be a colonel!!
