sometime the strangest things will remind u of someone u loved so much and lost..... the other day randy took his shoe off and noticed a hole in his sock, he said darn it!!! ther is a hole in my sock... it brought me back to when i was little and my grandma vivian was on the couch fixing my papa lelands sock well she was darning the hole (lol) and i smiled at randy and said i wish i could hav my grandma back so maybe i would sit withe her and she could teach me how to do it! i used to ask her y darn the hole y not just buy new socks? she would just smile and say" hullen ( a indian word meaning sweet and precious one) ther is no reason to throw away a sock that can b mended." i didnt understand that until then just because sumthing has a small flaw that can b mended doesnt meant u just throw it out... those words hit home!!! i wish i could go back in time and sit with her again!!! i miss her alot!!! so im going to try to learn how to darn socks after all just cus she isnt here with me to teach me ther is no reason her sowing box she gav me should just sit on my dresser right? who knows maybe i can figure out how to do it and teach my grand daughter something i thought i was to busy to learn lol miss u gma bibs!!!
