soooooooooo close... of course, the realtor couldnt get my landlord on the phone, but thankfully I found him fiddling around in the cellar and he used my phone to call them and confirm everything (which I dont know if that will be OK, because of caller ID and using my phone and not his, but fingers crossed). Now, the only thing holding us up is the bureaucracy of Bobs behemoth employer and getting them to respond quickly to employment and salary verification. I really hope they get it done quickly, or else well be waiting until Monday for a solid answer. After everything is verified, it still has to go through the landlord one more time and then they put the lease together. I really want to get back into the place ASAP, so that I can get accurate measurements and photoshop a layout, and then play around with placements of furniture. We have a really good moving company, and so Id like to have it planned out so that they can put the heavy stuff in the preferred locations. And I just realized something that might be tricky... were on the 3rd floor, and Oberon is not leash trained yet (he tugs and pulls and acts like a nut) and hes already 20 lbs (not even 4 mos old) and REALLY strong. Im a little worried about falling down the stairs if he gives me a crazy yank. (And well mostly be using the outdoor back stairs because the steps are wider and less winding than the front ones... so hopefully by the time there is ice again, he wont be such a spaz.)
