sttin here in da truck feelin a bit useless as da Home Fire takes a tire n battery off n out of my girls old car. i sit n watch haiden as he sleeps n it brings back memories of b4 he was born. when my son came n told us they wer gonna have a bby we wer excited, r first grandchild. we wer as supportive as we cud but in time complications arose. at the time i was attending ceremony for the healing of my cancer. i was on preparations for the third year of a four fast commitment. i was preparing by attending ceremony and gave offerings and asked for prayers for his health. i attended four ceremonies and prayed for the health of my unborn grandchild. as i was praying a grandfather came n spoke to me. he said Kewatinoong Notin will b okay! i saw a young child running around in a large yard. he was laffing as someone chased him. whoever chased him grew more angered. the lil boy ran to a man sitting on a chair n he stood in front of the man jus between his legs. again the grandfather spoke, kewatinoong notins legs will b good, you dont have to worry. as i sat in the lodge n seen this vision n heard the grandfather i thot, who is kewatinoong notin? i kept praying and again i heard the grandfather kewatinoong notin will b okay, you do not have to worry. he will come to live with you in time, you will raise him, you will teach him. he will not b still, he will always run. once again i thot who is kewatinoong notin? then it hit me! i felt happiness as i remembered n kept seeing in my head the vision of a lil boy running around laffing, not a care in the world yet lisrening to the older man as he talked. when haiden was born i was at da hospital. his mother had a difficult birth but haiden eventually came into this world. when his father bought him down family took turns welcoming him to the world by holding him and kissing him. he must have been about 30 mins old when i held him in my arms. i looked at him n kissed him on the forehead. i told him how nice it was to finally meet him. we have waited a long time for you to come. i prayed that you wud be a heathy boy. the gandfathers showed you to me in the lodge. do you remember coming to see me in the lodge? my grandson kewatinoong notin welcome to the world. i am happy that you are here. he jus looks at me and start talking. his eyes were big n he jus talked! i said oh you do remember. i kissed him again n passed him to his great coco.
