Job Location : Bangalore – Whitefield Designation : Technical Writer Position Requirements • Excellent in technical writing (software). • Experience with MadCap Flare, Adobe FrameMaker, and MS Office suite. • Excellent analytical and written communication skills and the ability to capture and comprehend abstract information. • Work with the manager to define documentation requirements and priorities. • Work in a team or as an individual contributor and report to the documentation manager on project statuses, risks, and issues. • Work with the dev team/SMEs to capture information from functional specifications, use cases, and other controlled documents. • Assist the product releases with on-time delivery of good quality user documentation. • Ability to quickly learn technical information and meet deadlines and help others in the team meet their deliverables too. • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and develop schedules. • Help develop and fine-tune documentation processes. • Understands the customer requirements and incorporate them into the documentation. • Is attentive to detail and accuracy, is committed to excellence, and owns and acts on quality problems. • Review documentation activities for compliance with procedures and standards. Should have sound Knowledge of Microsoft Manual of Style and writing standards. • Candidates with prior Supply Chain domain experience will be preferred. Key Areas: Technical Writing, Product documentation, online help, User guide, MadCap Flare, Adobe FrameMaker, and MS Office suite.
