sucky part of today: 100% rent increase on my apartment (yes, that means exactly double) and 60 days notice - the kicker (this is the really funny part) of which I will be traveling, away from said apartment, for 45 days...so, yeah, Beth is troubleshooting a situation right now...yes, my cave, I know....and frank, and the bunnies and the 50 house plants.....[insert every obstacle is an opportunity mantra here on loop, followed by a string of rapid fire mutherf@ck#rs ] awesome part of today: SILT is mastered and I still cry every time I hear these amazing humans play this music, breathing a life - a UNIVERSE - into it, far beyond what any scribbles could expect to illicit - it heals me with every listen - it is my meditation, and Im thankful to have it amidst the general (and currently heightened) life chaos.....AND I love love love playing Jherek Bischoffs music - and with this super crew in particular - and there are some new zingers and heartbreaking beauties in there (2 sets THURSDAY 9/4! at the Moore) that I look forward to diving more into....AND I am surrounded, daily, by wonderful friends and family who listen deeply, and see me clearly, with love, support, and compassion.....AND....AND... Sucky Part: 1 Awesome Part: 3+ Sorry sucky, you lose. You still suck, but you lose.
