sure is glad I did not participate in the after-Christmas sale madness this morning! Stopped at Bealls this morning to get some items I actually needed, there was little or no stuff on sale. Shopping this Christmas season has not had the joy or magic of other years. 50% off sales before the 15th of the month, stores sold out of Christmas merchandise a week before Christmas, good grief! It is just now the second day of Christmas (with those two turtledoves)...arent we supposed to be celebrating all the way to January 5th, at least?? On the news this morning the commentator was talking about the proper way to take DOWN your Christmas tree and where to take it for recycling... Whats wrong with this picture?? OK, rant done!
