#tantrumtales the back door creaked....ha ha. Shane was up earlier than the rest of us and poor guy was trying to sneak out quietly...but Asher heard the creak. Bam! Shot up and started screaming daddy car seat.... With half opened eyes and Taygen starting to get fussy.....I asked Asher to sit on the couch and told him i was giving him a chance to calm down before he had to go to his room for timeout....I calmly looked him in the eyes and said...how about instead of screaming we figure out what we want for breakfast and i started to name some of his choices....he started to let out another scream and i just named the choices again and picked up his stuffed monkey and told stuffed monkey how yummy breakfast was going to be..... Asher laughed (even though i think he was trying to NOT laugh)....and picked what he wanted. I turned Disney on while I went to fix it and he never acted out again....he has been an angel all morning. Mommy-1 Tantrum-freaking ZERO....bam! what! i am not disillusioned that this will work every time....but dangit I will take it on this beautiful Saturday.
