[tbs 정오뉴스] ▶National Assembly To Open Plenary Session Today The National Assembly is slated to open a plenary session this afternoon aimed at tackling corruption within the presidential office. A proposal to launch a parliamentary probe into the governments resource diplomacy initiative, carried out by the former Lee Myung-bak administration, is expected to be adopted. The international resource project is estimated to have incurred trillions of won in losses for state-run companies. Ruling and opposition lawmakers will also vote on the three special prosecutor candidates who will lead the probe which will also investigate Lee Myung-baks family members.
