#tbt Can you spot the musical instrument in this picture? 70 years ago to the day the 101st Airborne Division was just days away from the beginning of the bitterly cold siege of Bastogne which played a crucial part in the larger Battle of the Bulge. Soldiers endured the coldest weather in memory with limited protective clothing and almost no resupplies due to the lack of visibility. You can read COL S.L. A.
