te lies in Modise CV Thando Kubheka | Today, 08:38 JOHANNESBURG – The office of North West Premier Thandi Modise says an updated profile has been loaded onto the governments website after an official Curriculum Vitae (CV) for Modise contained a number of errors relating to her qualifications. The premiers office says the initial information was not validated with Modise. It also claims there is a smear campaign aimed at discrediting her and some of her top executive council ahead of the ruling partys parliamentary list conference. Modises spokesperson Lesiba Kgwele says, “We wish to clarify that there were no deliberate lies or false claims in the CV. The initial profile could have been put together from various sources and was regarded as authentic over the years by institutions that the premier served without affecting its authenticity.” Recently, Modise came under fire after it emerged that she purchased a BMW 750i worth R1.3 million. But she defended this saying she did not break any laws saying it was in line with guidelines prescribed by the ministerial handbook. The North West Legislature has since set up a special subcommittee to investigate the matter
