text of email sent to Reunions Unlimited: In 1985, our class slogan was from the Prince song, Lets Go Crazy. Ive made a decision that will surely be regarded as crazy by some of my classmates - but Id like to move this forward. I want this reunion to be one that no one will ever forget - and I think that with the help of Reunions Unlimited - we will achieve that! I have let my classmates know that it has been decided on Saturday August 1, 2015 at the Melville Marriott, with the buffet with the 4-hour open bar (at $120/person) - I hope that we will get most everyone there! Over the past few weeks, I have been collecting information from my classmates, I am attaching two lists (in an excel spreadsheet) - that gives you a pretty good foundation to get started. My MIA list is down to about 150 (out of a class of 505). Sadly, I have determined that seven of my classmates will not be able to join us, having passed away. Please let me know what else I can do for you as we move this reunion forward. If there is someone on your staff that has a significant facebook presence, I would recommend they join my FB group - Syosset High School - Class of 1985 - as I will continue to use that page for communicating with the class (there are about 240, just under half the class, in the group). Thank you again for agreeing to work with us - I am greatly relieved that the pressure is off me to ensure this goes off without a hitch - I know that it will now!
