Here is a bit more in-depth analysis that puts the pirate banks back into perspective when talking about property and the deliberate and fierce destruction of our Peoples democracy and the systematic killing-off and intentional povertizing of U.S. Americans. This latest sweeping anti-homeless and anti-survival law banishes poor people from City parks (unless a police-officer happens to like ya in the instant moment). It will prove to be illegal (unconstitutional) in time, if those pirates dont immolate the whole Country first. Meanwhile this latest law is the capstone of ongoing criminalizing behavior laws over 40 years here. It effectively forbids people who dont look plastic enough to be ANYWHERE in public whatsoever -- from sitting down -- from pausing -- nowhere is legal now if you LOOK homeless, not even on the curbs and traffic medians. Illegal to appear to be living outside of a house or building, now, in the City of Santa Cruz. As the law was being passed, the police were simultaneously admitting their myriad of laws (from being in a civic parking lot more than fifteen minutes to leaving a cigarette butt on sidewalks) are not working to scare away everyone intended, while asking asking for yet another law to further criminalizing and povertizing them.
