thank you, Thank You, THANK YOU in all that I hold most dear for your prayers, thoughts, and kind words following Brandts dirt bike accident! My sincerest apologies for flying out the door without my fb electronics to keep you informed. He broke his T9 vertebrae and fractured his 3 lower ribs on one side. The neurosurgeon was able to bracket his vertebrae with the stable ones on either side to stabilize his spinal column. His spinal column is in tact - as is his sense of humor as he had friends, family and staff laughing since the paramedics reached the scene - and although he does not have sensation back in his legs and feet yet, we are hopeful. I have always called him my Teflon-coated kid. He does not allow things to stick to him but lets it all roll off. (I might be able to learn a lesson or 2 from that boy!) Brandts body is in good hands at Mercy in DesMoines and the rest of him has been covered in all of your prayers and positive thoughts. I feel extraordinarily blessed tonight! When circumstances get dicey, Love & Faith stand in stark contrast... Our kryptonite-eating Superman has a lot of road ahead of him & Thank You most for believing that he Will get to where he wants to be! LOVE & BLESSINGS right back to you!!! KissKiss
