that is so wild...I was just watching American Pickers the other day when they were at some place with a lot of amusement circus stuff and I thought wow, if they went to Eagle Park in Cache, OK they would find some gems!! My Uncle Ronnie & Aunt Mary lived on the property at the entrance of Eagle Park with my cousins Heather Brust and James W Tyler. My brother Sonny Strumila and I would spend many summers and weekends out there with our cousins in what was a childhood dream...Amusement park, Skating Rink, Rodeos, and Pow Wows!! I still remember looking through the windows of this really old house on the property that looked like it had been shut up for decades and seeing all that dusty cobweb covered antiques that looked like it was from back in the turn of the century!! What great childhood memories we had!! Catching fireflies in a jar, skating at their skating rink, listening to the Indian Pow Wows in their park, cant remember if we ever got to ride those rides...seemed like it was never open or the rides werent working...Awwww and having homemade coconut cream pie or banana cream pie with Grandma Tyler and Cora Lee or Norma at the Old Trading Post!! We had such a Great Childhood!! American Pickers actually have a segment on the owners daughter selling the old bumper cars from the amusement park that dated back to the 1950s. It breaks my heart to see that such a fabulous place of so many childhood memories has been let go and over run with foliage!! Segment starts at 21:57 You know, come to think of it, I think it was that old house that started my interest in history that has lasted my entire life!!
