the SPIDER -by Suraj.K It was cloudy. I Was reading a book sitting in my doorstep a few minutes ago,because electricity went off and i was sweating. So doorstep. Ok? Resting my back on the left door,one leg on ground and other on the right door. Thats when a spider came from nowhere and landed on my right thigh. A silver one,having black dots like a cheetah on it. And was going to enter into my thigh pocket and sooner i flicked him (or i dont know if it was her) away. And it directly went into a bucket which we keep outside if we need extra water. I didnt cared,i continued my reading. After reading a chapter i saw that its trying hard,then harder atlast hardest to get out of it,but it wasnt enough. We have kept a tulsi plant in a pot on the left. My mum,who always do its pooja and pinches a agarbatti in the soil,its left behind stick. I plucked it out from the red soil,and saw that the spider isnt moving. I pushed the spider at a side with it,but it wasnt able to climb. So i removed another stick and climbed it upon one and it got kind of stuck it to it. I just rested the spider stick on the ground. It wasnt able to walk,was trying,falking,trying falling leaving its wet water behind and atlast it falled on its back shaking some of its legs and later,just a statue. It didnt moved. Thn wind blowed,sun came i thought i tried my best and continued reading. After 5 mins my sis came,threw a melody at me. It hit my head and falled. I stretched my hand to get it and then something jumped onto my hand. A SPIDER. I oohed a little,but soon I saw place where i kept the spider which i tried to save,its wasnt there. I watched it closely,it was silver with black dots. I smiled. And wrote it down. :-)
