the ability to represent those you love can be superseded by the events currently taking place. wisdom occurs when acceptance of our shortcomings is accepted, and our place is no longer defined by sociobiological/cultural norms; concepts are used in desperation just as much as they are used in development. in other words, evolution has given those--defined as unselected--a handicap. this handicap is just as negative as it is necessary. we ALL cope with this inequality through consumption; we see others suffering and naturally sympathize. what came first? the chicken or the egg? the answer is: what difference does it make? natural selection will push the best ideas forward.. for better and for worse. my prerogative is to reproduce ideas, not necessarily myself. the successful do, and the unsuccessful intellectualize. and yet somehow, the two are not mutually exclusive.
