the art of change.. of progress.. is in the story.. a story that makes the listener voluntarily roll it all over in their heart/mind.. until the repetition makes itself work. this is why/how art beats political rhetoric... this is how art changes our culture at its core. this is how real culture is symbiotic with the natural world. it runs on stories told around the talking circle.. stories around the campfire from before the dawn of written history. and it continues today.. it empowers our peaceful fight for water, web of life, and humane human values..
