the city of hagerstown will block the streets for motor cycles, the city will block the mid city parking area for the german celebration, even close the entire downtown for a blues fest. why, it brings money into the city pocketbooks. but, when the organizations dedicated to helping those less fortunate want the use of the market lot parking area, after 4:00pm, to give food to the poor is a no no! Hagerstown Maryland, is showing its true colors. "keep those people out of sight". Penny Nigh and others on the council, thinks its best that this be done on "private parking" areas! when it comes to the "upper crust" nothing is too good when catering to them. but let us poor people ask, and you got it, "put em somewhere outta sight" read your local paper and make your voice heard!
