,,the heads of member states AU shld stop roadside shows. There is the assessed contributions 2wards the African Peace fund. And 4 the friends of the AU they can make Special Contribution2 the kitty. The African Standby Force, is a mere movin target because these member states havent bn able 2 honour their plegdes. They shld meet their assessed contributions wth consistency rather than wait until there is an Extraordinary Summit to tell the continent how much they want2 contribute. Infact wth the current breed of leaders across the continent, the Rapid Deployment Capabilities and ASF, remain jst bt an ambitious project.
