the ministry of veterans affairs had failed to correctly register genuine war veterans especially those who had been inside the country. what we currently see is former adversaries benefiting and registered as war veterans on top of most well-known people who suffered and had been assisting PLAN combatant during that height of war. although these people had tried to register there are those who turned down their registration hence they did nt so far received veteran numbers. so the registration team is to be blamed for this as they might tampered with the information given during interview process. we need to be given information and reasons why some of these cadres could not receive veteran status which is given to former adversaries.
