the plant based, low glycemic, living foods, mineral rich, raw - TopicsExpress

the plant based, low glycemic, living foods, mineral rich, raw (un cooked) protocol is a major contributor to reversing many many dis-eases. I have changed my fuel source to an organic raw vegan diet, low in sugary fruits, high in mineral rich alkaline waters, lots of leafy greens, some nuts (soaked and sprouted) and veggies for five years now. The first few years were not easy, I was committed to cutting out meat, dairy, grains, processed foods, sodas, cookies, restraunts, junk foods, and only consuming mainly self grown organic Veggies, greens, fruits, nuts and seeds. Looking back on the first few years i have come to understand that I did what i could to change but probably relied to much on fruit and not enough on veggies and greens. When changing from the standard american sugar diet it can be difficult to cut out the sugary fruits, and that is ok, but I have come to believe that you will get to the point where your body needs more greens and veggies in order to move forward on a plant based raw diet or you will regress into cooked foods, which will expose you to there mind dulling and energy lacking qualities. There are many in the raw vegan movement that promote that nuts, seeds and oils (fats) are not good (they are known as fruitarians or eighty ten ten) but I dis-agree. I feel that if you feel the desire to stay mainly plant based raw, and you are conscience of the negative, energy sucking effects that cheese, breads, meats, processed foods have you will need to learn how to make dehydrated breads (veggie based not grain) and crackers. Also you need to learn to accept fats and eat them with complimentative foods like greens. For five years now i have been almost always raw vegan, but I have had a few times a year where I wasnt, but most the time I enjoy eating raw. The last two years my regular daily routine has become in the morning I drink lots of warm mineral rich alkaline water, then around early afternoon I might eat some organic fruit (generally low glycemic in season ) and then a large salad with nut pate, or some other variation of lots of greens, veggies and some nuts, avocado or oil. I will then give the food three hours or so to be broken down by the bodies digestive enzymes by not diluting them with drinking water. I finish the late afternoon and early evening by drinking lots of warm mineral rich alkaline water. Not drinking for several hours after eating has been one of the best habits that I have recently incorporated. I feel like it has really really helped my digestion and diet greatly! This is what works best for me currently. I want to express though that there are many things I say that are my best honest intentions in that moment but in no way should be taken as an end all be all. I change often and only wish to express where I am at at that given moment. There are many things posted by me on Facebook and other sources that should not be taken as a definitive definition of paul but as an interesting read or thought provoking subject. I think that an open mind is a blessing and trying to label or define oneself and others is extremely limiting.
