the real big difference between a capitalist system, a socialist - TopicsExpress

the real big difference between a capitalist system, a socialist system and a cooperative system is who owns the means of production ... in a capitalist system the means of production is owned by the capitalists (people with capital willing to invest to make more capital) who hire (or enviably enslaves) the workers for their labor ... in a socialist system the means of production is owned by the State which is in theory controlled by the workers (proletariat) .. in a cooperative system the means of production is owned by the workers who have direct voting power over their own workplace and are self managed (autogestion)
