the tour of spain stage #3. stopped into pontevedra for a quick bite for lunch followed by an even quicker walk around the old city before heading back down the coast to watch the end of race from a good vantage point before it got busy! looks like half of galicia had the same idea! i was blown away by the passion & almost religious fanaticsm towards the sport. i have never been big on road cycling but you get caught up in the whole circus when you are live right there and not miles away watching it on tv! people walking the 6kms to the summit, on bike, on horse, by donkey & cart anywhich way! the turning point was the amazing machinery on display and it clicked! formula 1 is a great specticle but the connection between the cars and real life is like ever going into outer space but having the chance to own/ride a team issue or even a brand of bicycle you support is within reach of everyone! a noble sport with a noble instrument powered by the human spirit! #trekbicycle #focus #specialized #look #bmc #lapierre #giantbikes
