Jesus paid for those wages of sin on the cross—all of them—past, present and future. Second, if a believer would go to hell for sinning, then this teaching is also saying a believer must NOT sin in order to go to heaven—therefore, he is being saved by what he does, not what Jesus did on the cross! And the Bible is clear: NOT BY WORKS! For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, that no one should boast. Ephesians 2:8-9 He (JESUS) saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy...
