...the wages of sin is death... Some say if we forget to repent after each sin, then get hit by a car or suddenly die, that we will go to hell, however Romans 6:23 continues on to say; ...BUT, the FREE gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Jesus paid for those wages of sin on the cross—all of them—past, present and future. Second, if a believer would go to hell for sinning, then this teaching is also saying a believer must NOT sin in order to go to heaven—therefore, he is being saved by what he does, not what Jesus did on the cross! And the Bible is clear: NOT BY WORKS! For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, that no one should boast. Ephesians 2:8-9 He (JESUS) saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy... Titus 3:5 The question about total grace was asked in the early church and Paul responded: What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin that grace might increase? May it never be! How shall we who died to sin still live in it. Romans 6:1-2 Happy Sunday everyone!!!
