theonlinebookclub.org had this to say about XIANNE (I, of course, jumped off a building immediately after! ) The book started with an introduction filled with cliches and irrelevant information, making the story less interesting. Then the plot continues without any indication of an overall conflict that left me questioning where the book would go, even if I was already over 50 pages ahead.
