there are those who pose and posture as one who is hard working, intelligent, generous, compassionate, and then there are those who actually are. on the surface the people who are the most compassionate are often the toughest to read, having had their kindness treated for weakness a few too man times, they are on guard and have often designed a thick network of security mechanisms (like humor, smart ass jokey jokes, seemingly impatient to minor flaws, but openly expressive as such) to protect against those who fake the funk and profane the sacred magic. those who are the most selfish are often, in appearance, the nicest, friendliest, seemingly helpful (until its really time to get dirty that is), and these people are often nowhere to be found when there is need for real love and magic, because they see but dont know, they hear but dont understand. many people judge the surface of a man before they learn his symbols, thinking him a jerk or a dumby, not knowing that the diamond hides beneath the surface. are you sure it is not fools gold you carry? are you sure those people you have written off are not your friends? are you sure the people you roll with (who talk so nice and never criticize you) really are? there are many layers and many keys to many locks, judge not lest ye be judged... this message composed and approved by hap hathaway, aka long wind, aka dragon breath, aka long wind dragon breath...do you know where your dragon is?
