there is no need to get nervous or uncomfortable when a black person says another black woman is not my competition , support black businesses stand up for your rights black people........we need to empower each other more, saying these things on a regular basis can (my opinion) just last week as i was coming out of a mini mart a gentleman was kind enough to open the door for me, in doing so he had to stretch his hand across, his words were pardon my black hands i said to him thank you but what you mean?, he said yuh nuh si how mi han black as if my respect for him would be less than because of the shade of his skin, or that he wish he was lighter...i couldnt stop to continue the conversation, but thought that is just a symptom of what is happening with us... though i havent posted her pic yet, i am overjoyed by all the attention Lupita Nyongo is getting...its all about being comfortable in your own skin...bigging up or mentioning ones race dont mean that you are putting down another....prouda mi blackpepper grain (hair) #Blacklove #blackpride #blackisbeauty #proudtobeblack #thatisall
