..there may not be anyone youll ever meet more nostalgic & sentimental than myself - born with a photogenic memory of the past that goes back to my earliest age of around 5.. Piles of diaries Ive written for everyday of my life. The countless conversations with family & friends where I can describe to a tee a memory we shared together. My memory is a gift but for years no one understood it. But, here on Facebook I think many of us get it now. That our present lives come from the very journey of where weve been & who weve loved... The good, the bad, everything... As we end a year I try to remember that it is really just a calendar date. Truly. Many of us will cling to the new year & remain hopeful that all will be better, truth is EVERYDAY IS NEW YEARS DAY... we may measure our lives by numerical dates but honestly if we think about it its not the number of years, its how much we love & be loved in our days, isnt it? Yes, tomorrow is 2015 and things will feel hopeful & bright... But we all know a few weeks later the magic lessens... Ive realized it doesnt have to..by allowing myself to detach from numbers of days and attach to days of LOVE, staying present, & letting go of things that no longer serve me. It doesnt come easy to be this way, its a practice Ive been cultivating for years now and I must say its really how I stay happy... Wishing you everyday new.. Love yourself & Each other... ✨🌟💫
