When the mind is pure, joy follows like a shadow that never leaves. The mind is everything. What you think you become. You can search throughout the entire universe for someone who is more deserving of your love and affection than you are yourself, and that person is not to be found anywhere. You yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe deserve your love and affection. O mind, love the Lord, as the lotus loves the water. Tossed about by the waves, it still blossoms with love. The one who loves all intensely begins perceiving in all living beings a part of himself. He becomes a lover of all, a part and parcel of the Universal Joy. He flows with the stream of happiness, and is enriched by each soul.
