What has changed: • The date for theswitchMONEYBALL is October 10-12, 2014. What hasn’t changed: • Our commitment to provide the largest first prize money purse to both Open Men’s and Over 40’s Masters Men in Australian fastpitch history • The largest prize money home run contest in Australia will be undertaken with $1000 for the winner thanks to Plus Fitness 24/7 Windsor! • Our commitment to providing a world class tournament- but be prepared to play day and night if needed! • theswitchMONEYBALL will be a tournament for players with initiatives such as all Open Men’s games being 7 innings games (weather permitting), and having a cranking bar area and entertainment program • Our commitment to use this opportunity to have our country’s best players tutoring the next generation of ball players • Using online tools to provide rapid updates to our softball community Why the change: • To avoid a local scheduling clash and have our best up and coming Under 19’s available to participate • To ensure the best quality umpires are available for the weekend. Local teams please note, due to the considerable interest shown in participating at theswitchMONEYBALL, local teams must be available to play games from 7pm on Thursday, October 9. Additionally, it is envisaged that all official duties will conclude by 5pm on October 12.
